The Tower of Babel

This Sunday, Elder Chris continues his study through the book of Genesis. In Genesis chapter 11:1-9 we find that, about 100 years after the flood, the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech. The people of the earth then decided to build a tower “whose top may reach unto heaven.” God then confounds their language so that they would not be able to accomplish this feat. Elder Chris discusses the importance of the distinction between heaven and earth, and why they are purposefully kept separate.
