Abraham makes the decision to trust God, but it is not easy. In Genesis 15 we find that the word of the Lord comes to Abraham in a vision, saying, "Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward." God is our reward, because He gave it all in sacrificing His only son, for our sakes. When we trust in God, we should not fear!
