Seeing Ourselves as We Truly Are
5/3/2020
This week Elder Chris took his subject from John 8:1-11 where we find the scribes and Pharisees have brought Jesus a woman caught in the act of adultery. The scribes and Pharisees tried to set Jesus up and test him, but Jesus was not surprised by this. In verse 7, Jesus says "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." to which the scribes and Pharisees responded by walking away - they saw and felt the shame. One of the hardest things you can do as a Christian is to see yourself as you truly are. If we as Christians cannot recognize the truth about ourselves, how can we can truly change to improve ourselves for our life and family?
